| After the death of Dalene Zinkan by the
dreaded disease of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS),
the Zinkan family has been committed to helping other
ALS patients through expanded research.
The family formed The Zinkan Charitable
Foundation to aid in their venture of finding early
solutions and a cure. The foundation works closely with
the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. The work being done at
the Cleveland Clinic offers hope for those
stricken with this terrible disease.

Neuromuscular diseases, such as Amyotrophic Lateral
Sclerosis (ALS) directly impact each patient’s physical
ability to control movement. Without more funds
available to drive research, these diseases will
continue to impact our family, friends and co-workers.
